GONG PRICING STRUCTURE
Gong uses a three-part pricing model: a mandatory platform fee, per-user licenses, and a one-time onboarding fee. All three are required.

HIDDEN COSTS & CONTRACT TRAPS
Auto-renewal price increases (5-15% annually)
Most contracts include automatic annual increases. A $29,000/year contract becomes ~$31,900 in year 2 and ~$35,100 in year 3 without adding seats.
Early termination penalties (50-100% of remaining value)
Exiting mid-term costs 50-100% of remaining contract value. On a $29K/year deal with 18 months left, that's $21,750-$43,500 to walk away.
Mandatory platform fee (separate from per-user costs)
The $5,000-$50,000 annual platform fee applies regardless of user count. For a 10-person team, this adds $42-$417/user/month on top of per-seat cost.
Forced bundling for add-ons
Want Engage for outbound? You must also buy Foundations for every user, even if some only need Engage.
No flexibility for team size changes
If your team shrinks, contracts don't adjust downward. You pay for unused seats until contract end.
2025 pricing restructure increased costs
Gong restructured to modular pricing. Customers now pay ~$1,400-$1,600/user for Foundations alone. Effective per-user cost rose 25-56% between 2023 and 2026.
