How does Convo access my Google Meet calls?
Convo runs locally on your computer, capturing Google Meet system audio. It never joins as a visible bot—other participants don't see it. Audio processes on your device before syncing to Trello.
Will other people on the Google Meet call know I'm using this?
No. Unlike Fireflies or Otter, Convo doesn't add a "recording bot" to your Google Meet call. It's completely invisible. Only you know it's running.
How does the data actually get to Trello?
Convo connects to Trello through automation platforms — Zapier, Make, or IFTTT. After your Google Meet meeting, Convo triggers your configured automation, which sends the data you've chosen (transcripts, summaries, action items) to Trello. Set it up once, then it runs automatically. Developers can also use Convo's REST API directly — see docs.itsconvo.com for details.
How does Convo know who to assign tasks to in Trello?
It listens for "John will..." or "@Sarah can you..." on Google Meet and maps names to Trello user accounts. You can review assignments before they're created.
Can it update existing Trello tasks or only create new ones?
Both. If a Google Meet discussion references a Trello task ID or name, Convo updates that task. Otherwise, it creates new tasks with proper linking.
What happens if the AI misinterprets a task on Google Meet?
You get a review screen before Trello sync. Edit the task, change assignees, adjust due dates. Over time, corrections train Convo to be more accurate for your team.
