Convo runs locally on your computer, capturing Google Meet system audio. It never joins as a visible bot—other participants don't see it. Audio processes on your device before syncing to Salesforce.
Will other people on the Google Meet call know I'm using this?
No. Unlike Fireflies or Otter, Convo doesn't add a "recording bot" to your Google Meet call. It's completely invisible. Only you know it's running.
How does the data actually get to Salesforce?
Convo connects to Salesforce through automation platforms — Zapier, Make, or IFTTT. After your Google Meet meeting, Convo triggers your configured automation, which sends the data you've chosen (transcripts, summaries, action items) to Salesforce. Does this work with custom Salesforce fields?
Yes. During setup, you map which Google Meet conversation elements (budget mentions, timeline, pain points) populate which Salesforce fields—including custom fields.
Can I control which Google Meet calls sync to Salesforce?
Absolutely. Set rules by meeting type, participant, or Salesforce opportunity stage. Not every Google Meet internal sync needs to go into Salesforce.
