To install Convo on Mac: download the .dmg from itsconvo.com, open it, drag Convo to Applications, and launch. Requires macOS 12.0+ and 4GB RAM. To install on Windows: download the .exe installer, run it, and follow the setup wizard. Requires Windows 10+ and 4GB RAM. Grant microphone and screen recording permissions when prompted for full functionality.
Get started with Convo on your Mac or Windows PC in just a few simple steps. Choose your platform below.
Double-click convo-setup.dmg in your Downloads folder
A window will appear showing the Convo icon and your Applications folder. Drag the Convo icon into the Applications folder
Once copied, right-click the Convo disk icon on your desktop and select "Eject"
Go to Applications folder and double-click Convo
If macOS shows a security warning, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → General, and click "Open Anyway"
Convo will request permissions for microphone and accessibility. Click "Allow" for each
Pro tip: Add Convo to your Dock by right-clicking the icon in your Dock while it's running and selecting Options → Keep in Dock.
For Convo to work properly on Mac, you'll need to grant the following permissions:
Required to capture and analyze meeting audio in real-time
System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone → ✓ Convo
Allows Convo to display AI insights and suggestions
System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility → ✓ Convo
Enables advanced meeting detection and context awareness
System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording → ✓ Convo
This is a standard macOS security feature. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, and click "Open Anyway" next to the message about Convo.
Manually grant permissions by going to System Settings → Privacy & Security, then add Convo to Microphone, Accessibility, and Screen Recording.
Double-click convo-setup.exe in your Downloads folder
If Windows shows a SmartScreen warning, click "More info" then "Run anyway"
Click through the installer steps. You can keep the default installation location or choose a custom folder
Click "Finish" to complete the setup. Convo will launch automatically
Find Convo in your Start menu or double-click the desktop shortcut
Convo will request microphone access. Click "Allow" when prompted
Pro tip: Pin Convo to your taskbar by right-clicking the icon in the taskbar while it's running and selecting "Pin to taskbar".
For Convo to work properly on Windows, you'll need to grant the following permissions:
Required to capture and analyze meeting audio in real-time

Allows Convo to capture system audio from meetings
Convo will set this up automatically during first launch
This is a standard Windows security feature for new applications. Click "More info" then "Run anyway" to proceed with installation.
Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone, ensure "Microphone access" is turned on and Convo is allowed.
