How does Convo access my Dialpad calls?

Convo runs locally on your computer, capturing Dialpad system audio. It never joins as a visible bot—other participants don't see it. Audio processes on your device before syncing to Linear.

Will other people on the Dialpad call know I'm using this?

No. Unlike Fireflies or Otter, Convo doesn't add a "recording bot" to your Dialpad call. It's completely invisible. Only you know it's running.

How does Convo know who to assign tasks to in Linear?

It listens for "John will..." or "@Sarah can you..." on Dialpad and maps names to Linear user accounts. You can review assignments before they're created.

Can it update existing Linear tasks or only create new ones?

Both. If a Dialpad discussion references a Linear task ID or name, Convo updates that task. Otherwise, it creates new tasks with proper linking.

What happens if the AI misinterprets a task on Dialpad?
