Connect your Notion workspace and every call lands in a "Convo Calls" database automatically: summary, decisions, action items, and call details. Filter it, relate it to your other Notion pages, or export it as CSV for your own analysis.
Connecting Notion
- Open the Convo dashboard and click Settings
- Select Notion in the Integrations section
- Click Connect: your browser opens Notion's authorization page
- Pick a page to share with Convo when Notion asks: this is where your calls database will live
- Click Allow access: back in Convo, the page shows Connected to your workspace
The page you pick matters. Convo creates the "Convo Calls" database inside the page you shared during authorization. If you skip the page selection, the connection can't finish: reconnect and select a page.
What happens after connecting
- Backfill: your 50 most recent calls sync into the database right away
- Automatic sync: every new call lands on its own, as soon as its summary is ready, even with the Convo app closed
- Per call: a database entry with Name, Date, Duration, Action Items count, and Participants, plus a page body with the summary sections, decisions, and action items as checkboxes
- Regenerated summaries replace the call's Notion page with the updated version, no duplicates
Exporting your calls as CSV
The database is a normal Notion database, so Notion's native export works: open it, click the ••• menu in the top right, choose Export, and pick CSV. Useful for analyzing your calls in a spreadsheet or pasting into an AI tool.
Good to know
"Nothing shows up in Notion"
The database lives inside the page you shared during connect, which is easy to forget. Press Cmd+K (or Ctrl+K) in Notion and search for "Convo Calls".
Transcripts stay in Convo
Only the summary, decisions, action items, and call properties sync to Notion. Recordings and full transcripts never leave Convo.
Disconnecting and reconnecting
Disconnecting stops syncing; everything already in Notion stays there. Reconnecting creates a new Convo Calls database in the page you pick and backfills it again, while the old database remains where it was. Archive the old one if you don't want two.
